CW Bombshell

Combiner Wars - It is a bug world out there. Anyway; this is the second Insecticon that I bought. We are missing the last legend wave (Megatron, Starscream, Gears, Skrapnel, Tailgate, Swerve and Cosmos). Either it arrived a few or none at all (and selling like hot cake). I can't complain much but at least the new Combiner Wars line release Bombshell (and yet to see upcoming Huffer, Blackjack and Warpath). Here is my review of this great and simple figure.

30th Generation Armada Starscream

30 th Generation - A long time ago; I owned the Transformers Armada game on the PlayStation 2. It was a good game and what I love was be able to fight Starscream as its protagonist. It was that point that I really want to watch the Transformers anime/cartoon again. And I did. In my deepest thought; I really want to get the Armada Starscream figure. But it was until I started collecting again that I was thinking of getting it through ebay. Luckily; Hasbro has released a new mold based on the same figure. But smaller in deluxe size and much more better. Here is my review of 30 th Generation Starscream.

30th Generation Blitzwing

30 th Generation - A long time ago, I am not ashamed to say that I used to have bootleg Transformers. I remember having a white unpainted Optimus Prime, Soundwave, Topspin, Devastator, Broadside and Blitzwing. Those bootlegs were all around even in big supermarket. Blitzwing was one of those short lived bootleg that I had. I do not even remember where I have put it as I was very young back then. I did watched G1 and the movie before but never paid attention to the characters except for those main characters. I only know Blitzwing in the 1986 movie and later in the Transformers Animated movie. He is the type who had personality disorder where he can change his face into different characters. Anyway; here is my review of Blitzwing.

30th Generations Megatron

30 th Generations - Finally, a figure that worth to buy. I bought this last year together with Orion Pax. As soon as I removed it from the box; I just displayed it on my shelves and forget all about it. I never did try to transform or even take a picture of it. But it was this photo session that I finally managed to play around with it and transform it. I was surprise that this figure is actually quite good although it got a few flaw. Here is my review of Megatron.

Review: Transformers 4 - Age of Extinction

Copyright Protected © 2014 Paramount Pictures. All Rights Reserved. HASBRO, TRANSFORMERS, and all related characters are trademarks of Hasbro Movie Review - Transformers Age of Extinction was released two weeks ago. After Dark of the Moon; I would thought that Micheal Bay is done with the Transformers franchise. But I was wrong. Very wrong. I have reviewed Dark of the Moon before. Two weeks ago; I was busy reading negative comments about Age of Extinction. I was skeptical at first but yesterday, I watched it with my family and here is my honest opinion and my thought about the movie (WARNING: Spoiler AHEAD) . Click more at your own risk.

Random Thoughts - Why do we collect? An honest confession

Random Thoughts - When I started back in 2009; I would never thought that toy collecting was considered a hobby. I bought my first leader class Starscream for a reason to decorate my room and thought it would look cool on my computer desk. I was always the gaming geek at heart. If I was a collectors back then like I am today; I would have a huge collection of toys (not specifically Transformers) right now. Luckily I was not. I do have a special place in my heart for toys such as Transformers, Macross and recently Gundam since I was a kid. Here is my honest confession.

Fall of Cybertron Kickback

Fall of Cybertron - My first insecticon after all these years. Although; there were third party company who produced not-Kickback, I was never interested to get one due to a lot of fact. Personally, third parties are expensive and they came in limited amount. But when Hasbro announced Kickback figure in conjunction with the release of Fall of Cybertron video games; I was amaze on the product picture. In the promo picture; Kickback definitely a must buy in my book. Here is a review of this figure.

Mr. Potato Starscream and Optimus Prime

Mr. Potato Head - Bought this two deluxe class a month ago (I think). It was a friend who told me that there is a deluxe class for Mr. Potato and show me these two through Whatsapp. I went there and got those two. Just love these two characters crossover. So cute and how I wish they would come up more especially the Decepticon characters. How I wish there were a Soundwave or an Ironhide figure. Anyway, the differences between deluxe class and the normal one was that; the deluxe class has an extra parts that can be use as vehicle mode. Here is my review.

Generation Thunderwing

Generations - Another great leader of the Decepticon since Megatron and Straxus. Thunderwing is a mega pretender in the G1 continuity. He does not appear in any animation before including G1 or Japanese Masterforce series. You can find his first appearance in Marvel G1 Transformers. I have not read the comic book yet but according to TFwiki; he is one hell of a Decepticon leader. This figure is a straight forward Transformers figure and not a pretender as he was before. Here is my review.

Windcharger vs Wipeout

Transformers United - Say hello to my recent purchase early this year. Meet Windcharger (Red) and Wipeout (Black). I miss out on the Hasbro RVS version of Windcharger and I know that he is an important character in the G1 universe. I know less about Wipeout origin but I do know that he appeared in the Marvel G1 comic book as Trypticon personal assistant or scout. Both has the same mold and I am sure there is no differences. Here is my review.

Transformers 4: Age of Extinction

Coming Soon - Michael Bay did it again. I thought after Dark of the Moon; there would be no more lubricating Transformers, obnoxious parents, hot super model girlfriend and nerdy raging hormone teenager. I was hoping for a reboot. Fortunately, at least this time; the heroic seat were given to a more mature and better person. I do hope this time the story line would be more serious and fun at the same time. And seriously I do hope it would not be some reason to just wanted the Dinobots and Galvatron to appeared and kick ass at each other.

Fall of Cybertron Shockwave

Fall of Cybertron - Shockwave was always given the second hand treatment and often under rated especially in the G1 cartoon or M. Bay movie. But in the Marvel comic book; he is a bad ass commander and even outrank Megatron at some point. A smart and wise tactician but nevertheless thirst for power. To me, Shockwave is smart and quite strong that he even defeated Megatron before (Marvel G1 reference). Anyway, Shockwave make an appearance in the video game and his character are so similar and resemble the Marvel G1 Shockwave. He is a crazy scientist but the only nerd that you will not mess with.

Transformers Prime Vehicon (RID)

TP Robots in Disguise - A long time ago, I really don't know why is these Vehicon was sold out so fast than those fried banana fritters? So does RID Soundwave and Ratchet. Nobody seems to care about Bumblebee or Knockout. Anyway, after much consideration; I had decided to buy myself the RID version of this Vehicon and my choice was the correct one.

Fall of Cybertron Starscream

Fall of Cybertron - It has been a while since I post anything. I have been busy with a lot of things lately. With works, family and almost my hunt for more collections. For your information; I am not only collecting Transformers but I do collect other stuff such as Gundam and lately Lego. But my passion for Transformers are still strong. I have purchased Starscream a long time ago. Even before my son was born. Now here is my chances to make amendment and there is no such thing as too late. It is better now than never.

G2 Megatron

Generation - Meet the green G2 Megatron. Anyway, instead of being a gun, he became a tank. This is not the only mold that he became a tank. Armada and M. Bay Megatron are a few of those example. I bought this mold as a twin pack and came together with Optimus Prime. Anyway, there are currently 3 colored version for this mold. And I only got two including the Special Edition.

WFC Megatron (Toys "R" Us Exclusive)

War for Cybertron - The infamous leader of the Decepticon. A war lord and a highly respectable warrior. You can't blame him as his origin was a humble one. A grunt who were push around by the Autobot aristocrat. He led the rebellion and soon the rebellion become a lust of power and hell break loose. Anyway, I love Megatron more than I love Optimus Prime. He is quite an intelligent tactician and skillful in fighting. Well here is my review of him for his War for Cybertron Megatron deluxe figure.

WFC Soundwave

War for Cybertron/Generation - I have been away since a very long time and has not updated this blog ever since. Too many stuff going in my life at one time. So finally, I have settled down and finally got the time to review another figure. Well, I have bought Soundwave a few months ago as I have bought most of the War for Cybertron figure including Optimus Prime, Megatron, Bumblebee and Cliffjumper. Soundwave was a very rare kit nowadays in Brunei. Fortunately, I found the last one at Chong Hock Toynation and interestingly it is a Takara Tomy United version. Takara Tomy has better paint job (shiny for that matter) but has a quality issue. I will explain it at the end of this review.

2012 - Early year acquisition

Recent Acquisition - I must say that I have been in a roll lately. Collecting some of Generation and Universe figure. At the same time, I had sold most of my movie Transformers as I am not keen into it anymore. I have started collecting Skyfire/Jetfire together with Treadbolt. Now I have to wait for Dreadwind (the TFC exclusive) and buy it online one day. Early this year, I had also bought the Takara Tomy exclusive War for Cybertron Dark Optimus Prime and Megatron. Then I proceed to buy the Toy 'R' Us exclusive War for Cybertron 3 packs and the BND$15 Cliffjumper. I wanted to get the UN WFC Cliffjumper but due to budget; I had to skip it. I also bought Takara Tomy UN Soundwave (just to complete my WFC Decepticon minion, LOL). Last and not least, I finally completed my Hasbro Generation Special Edition. As the last missing piece, Dragstrip is in my possession. My next wishlist would be Henkei Hound and some of the missing CHUG deluxe figure. But that I will keep it in view...
