Fall of Cybertron Shockwave

FOC Shockwave

Fall of Cybertron - Shockwave was always given the second hand treatment and often under rated especially in the G1 cartoon or M. Bay movie. But in the Marvel comic book; he is a bad ass commander and even outrank Megatron at some point. A smart and wise tactician but nevertheless thirst for power. To me, Shockwave is smart and quite strong that he even defeated Megatron before (Marvel G1 reference). Anyway, Shockwave make an appearance in the video game and his character are so similar and resemble the Marvel G1 Shockwave. He is a crazy scientist but the only nerd that you will not mess with.

Vehicle Mode

Instead of becoming a gun or a some sort of Cybertron tank; Shockwave vehicle mode is a Cybertronic cruiser. It does make logic as in the G1 comic; Shockwave gun mode always fly on earth atmosphere and create havoc. I do love the design except for the back part. I am not sure whether I have transform it correctly or not but the peg on the back does not seems to touch each other. Other than that; it is an amazing design.

Alternate Mode

The transformations process is hard and a bit hectic. You need to put his gun properly in place between its leg. Like I mentioned before; I really do not know if I make a mistake of not properly put it together.

Fall of Cybertron toyline; it is either you hate it or love it. Compared to the previous release and the same with the rest of the productions; Shockwave is a bit small. His leg looks so skinny and it felt like he is on a diet or something. But I have to praise the design of this figure. It looks superb and amazing. With his similarity to the G1 figure and the big fragging gun is just awesome. Hasbro should make Shockwave (and Megatron too) as a voyager class instead of mass producing Soundwave with its discs.

Conclusion

There were a third party who produce Shockwave (known as Quakewave) that resembles a lot like the G1 Shockwave and has the size of an MP-10. There is also another Shockwave on the BH toy line. But it is better to get the Takara version of that one instead of the Hasbro. But if you need to complete your Fall of Cybertron toy line; then this is a must for you.

Expressive Art Convention Brunei - Gundam Exhibition

EACon Brunei - Honestly, I am not a big fan of Gundam. But I do love the creative things that some collectors are willing to do beyond the stock paint and decal. Some are very quite amazing compared to the normal stock version. The ability to customized a Gundam model (or GunPla) is beyond imagination and limitless compared to a Transformers figure. Well just look at the pictures and judge it by yourself (Pictures make take a while to load, so please be patient).

I am astound to found out that cosplay had become a sensation particularly for teenagers.
