Cyberverse TF Prime Ironhide

Transformers Prime - Honestly, I am not much of a Transformers Prime fan. Don't get me wrong. I love the story line but I really do not like the animation and how the characters really designed. It is like Animated all over again. I really do miss the 'anime' type of characters without the CGI and everything. I bought a few TF: Prime First Edition before but I sold them to a friend. Anyway, when I heard that Hasbro/Takara is designing a new wave of Cyberverse and two of them was Ironhide and Ultra Magnus; I was falling in love with its design. More of a G1 and I really want to add it up to my Legend/Scout/Commander Class figures. So here is my review of Ironhide from Transformers Prime.

Bio

IRONHIDE is always ready for anything, as long as “anything” involves a fight. Surly, tough, and spoiling for battle, IRONHIDE has made a career out of blasting DECEPTICONS to pieces. His laser-proof armor makes him a tough opponent for even the most powerful warriors.

Who would not love that G1 color scheme? This version of Ironhide is like a fusion of the G1 and the movie Ironhide. It really reminds me of the limited edition voyager DOTM Ironhide. I really love the truck mode rather than being a van or something. The weapon can be mounted at the back and each side of the front doors.

Just like the vehicle mode; Ironhide is a combination of G1 and movie version. His head sculpt and his chest are similar to the G1 while the hands and legs part are more like the movie version. His weapon are also similar to the movie version. A twin vulcan canon. Interestingly his transformation is very easy but do take extra caution when moving and twisting his waist part. His weapon can be mounted on both his hand or on the side of his arm. It can also transform into a larger weapon.

I won't say that much about Ironhide but there are rumors that Ironhide will be a deluxe version including its repaint, Sarge Kup. Anyway, you won't be dissapointed on this version of Ironhide. He is amazing and very highly articulated on his arms and legs.

Generation Windblade

30 th Generation - Meet the official fan-made Transformers; Windblade. According to tfwiki.net ; she was officially revealed at the 2013 SDCC (San Diego Comic-Con) after running a few polls from fan. What I love about Windblade was she is the first Autobot female that I ever bought (Yes, I bought Airachnid from TFPrime). I think I forgot that I bought Arcee from TFPrime but sold it before I could ever review or displayed it (in this case, that does not count). Well, I really like her appearance and here is my review of her figure.

CW Powerglide

Combiner Wars - Finally a better looking Powerglide. I can't afford to buy the Classic 2.0 Powerglide; so this would be quite a nice value for your money. Basically, Powerglide is one of the G1 mini-bot (and how I wish that Beachcomber and Seaspray would be redesign). When Hasbro announce Powerglide as a legend class Combiner Wars figure; I was really excited. The new figure is the best looking Powerglide known and identical to his animation counterpart. And the best part; he transform himself into a powerful blaster for the combiners. Here is my review of him.

Expressive Art Convention Brunei - Gundam Exhibition

EACon Brunei - Honestly, I am not a big fan of Gundam. But I do love the creative things that some collectors are willing to do beyond the stock paint and decal. Some are very quite amazing compared to the normal stock version. The ability to customized a Gundam model (or GunPla) is beyond imagination and limitless compared to a Transformers figure. Well just look at the pictures and judge it by yourself (Pictures make take a while to load, so please be patient).
