DOTM Guzzle and Flak

Photobucket

Dark of the Moon - Two of the Autobot that landed in DOTM toy line and both name came from the G1 toy line. Guzzle was known in the G1 series as an Autobot Sparkabot and his new mold was created almost identical to his G1 counterpart. Flak however was originally came from the Micromaster series but in this mold; he is a totally different Autobot. I really do not know why I did buy the both of them. I am not a big fan of a Cyberverse series. But to me, the both of them are unique and I really like unique item. Anyway, I got this at a very nice price. So here is my review of both figure.

Bio

Guzzle

AUTOBOT GUZZLE consumes Energon faster than any of his comrades. Back on CYBERTRON this wasn’t an issue, but on Earth he is forced to find alternative power sources. DECEPTICONS take heed, AUTOBOT GUZZLE won’t be stopped by a fuel shortage!

Flak

The battle tactics FLAK invented might be unusual, but he knows they’d work – if only he could get them tested out on the battlefield.

I prefer Guzzle vehicle mode more as it is more faithful to its G1 counterpart. The looks at the tank mode really reminds me of Bludgeon. Unfortunately, the cannon cannot be twisted like a normal tank. In other words, it is quite stiff. Anyway, Flak as a very nice camouflage paint. And the cannon can be rotate 360 degrees. But it is quite small and I prefer Breacher. It is understandable as this is a legend class compared to their superior commander class.

As mentioned before; Guzzle also maintained its G1 counterpart (see his G1 mold). His armor and body paint consist of the yellow and white livery. While his mouth plate is made of blue paint, just like his G1 mold. His transformation was not that hard but there are a bit of adjustment on both shoulder that you should keep aware of. His weapon mount can combine and turn into a cannon.

Flak is a cute little soldier with a small cannon mount on his shoulder. If he was a scout class, maybe he can be more awesome like Breacher. But since for a small guy, he got a very nice detail and camouflage paint. His transformation is very simple. Honestly, I bought him to be the sidekick for Guzzle. They look awesome together and look cool for a jungle warfare. I guess this is my only Cyberverse. Was thinking of getting Cyberverse DOTM Powerglide next since the price has already reduced on Brunei market currently.

Generation Windblade

30 th Generation - Meet the official fan-made Transformers; Windblade. According to tfwiki.net ; she was officially revealed at the 2013 SDCC (San Diego Comic-Con) after running a few polls from fan. What I love about Windblade was she is the first Autobot female that I ever bought (Yes, I bought Airachnid from TFPrime). I think I forgot that I bought Arcee from TFPrime but sold it before I could ever review or displayed it (in this case, that does not count). Well, I really like her appearance and here is my review of her figure.

Expressive Art Convention Brunei - Gundam Exhibition

EACon Brunei - Honestly, I am not a big fan of Gundam. But I do love the creative things that some collectors are willing to do beyond the stock paint and decal. Some are very quite amazing compared to the normal stock version. The ability to customized a Gundam model (or GunPla) is beyond imagination and limitless compared to a Transformers figure. Well just look at the pictures and judge it by yourself (Pictures make take a while to load, so please be patient).

Expressive Art Convention Brunei - The Cosplay Artist

EACon Brunei - Cosplay, a rather interesting pop-culture that is now spreading like peanut butter on a sandwich. I am astound to found out that cosplay had become a sensation particularly for teenagers. Not just that, I also found out that most of them make a good effort by trying to match exactly as their anime or video game character counterpart. Well, just have a look and see what I mean.
