Skyhammer

Dark of the Moon - During the Power Core era, Skyhammer was a Decepticon. Now in Dark of the Moon franchise, he turn out to be an Autobot. Much like Mudflap in the 2007 Transformers who turn side. But that turn out to be Hasbro decision to label their product who ever they wish. Anyway, Skyhammer did not appeared in the movie and I am not sure whether he appeared in the comic book prequel itself. But he is rather a very unique Autobot and his voyager sculpt is really nice.

Bio

Back on CYBERTRON, SKYHAMMER was a highly decorated AUTOBOT aerial assault commander. He was tasked with personally advising OPTIMUS PRIME in countless skirmishes with the DECEPTICONS. SKYHAMMER is surprisingly nimble given his size and weapon payload. He is an expert with projectile weapons, but also excels in hand-to-hand combat. He carries an Energon blade bestowed on him by OPTIMUS PRIME as recognition of extraordinary courage and heroism in battle.

Vehicle Mode

Skyhammer vehicle mode looks like a futuristic Hind helicopter. It looks really amazing with a nice yellow glass cockpit and Autobot insignia on both side. Even his rotor blade is working and really functional. He got a lot of MechTech points. There are two points on both wings making it a total of four. One on each side of the engine. One on the bottom of the cockpit and lastly, two on the MechTech weapon itself. A total of a whooping 9 Mechtech weapon (including the MechTech weapon and without the rocket launcher).

Alternate Mode

His transformation skill was a bit hard at first especially when you have a pictorial manual rather than the traditional drawn manual. I was a bit confused especially on the wing and back part. Do be aware that you also need to pull the rotary blade upward before you can rotate the chest parts if you want to change into vehicle mode (or in this case vice versa). Anyway, he looks really cool in robot mode. Unluckily, his paint was a bit of a mess especially the head parts. Hasbro is kind of lazy on the paint department. His articulation is great especially the legs part. His arms has a limited movement. All in all, he is one great voyager to collect. Although he did not appeared in the movie but he is one great addition to the Dark of the Moon franchise.

Generation Windblade

30 th Generation - Meet the official fan-made Transformers; Windblade. According to tfwiki.net ; she was officially revealed at the 2013 SDCC (San Diego Comic-Con) after running a few polls from fan. What I love about Windblade was she is the first Autobot female that I ever bought (Yes, I bought Airachnid from TFPrime). I think I forgot that I bought Arcee from TFPrime but sold it before I could ever review or displayed it (in this case, that does not count). Well, I really like her appearance and here is my review of her figure.

CW Powerglide

Combiner Wars - Finally a better looking Powerglide. I can't afford to buy the Classic 2.0 Powerglide; so this would be quite a nice value for your money. Basically, Powerglide is one of the G1 mini-bot (and how I wish that Beachcomber and Seaspray would be redesign). When Hasbro announce Powerglide as a legend class Combiner Wars figure; I was really excited. The new figure is the best looking Powerglide known and identical to his animation counterpart. And the best part; he transform himself into a powerful blaster for the combiners. Here is my review of him.

Construct Bots - Ironhide

Construct-Bots - This will be my first posting on Construct-Bots. I was curious on how Constuct-Bots mechanism work and how it differ from the already established Lego Bionicle/Hero Factory line and the normal Kre-O brick line. Hasbro stated that with Construct-Bots; you don't need to remove the parts to transform from one form to another. As an additional info; this Construct-Bots (CB) Ironhide is not my first CB. That would be Starscream and I will review it when the time comes. So here is my review of Ironhide.
