Anakin Skywalker

Photobucket

Star Wars Crossover - The child prodigy that will bring balance to The Force one day. But a false prophecy that were planned since his birth. But no one knew Anakin except that when he turned to the dark side and became Darth Vader. Born as an orphaned, he is an innocent child at first but the Jedi turned him to became arrogant and ambitious. He seeks more than he can chew. An ill fated that turn him as the dark lord himself. In this crossover, Anakin is a Jedi Starfighter that appeared in Episode 3, Revenge of the Sith (not the fallen, LOL).

Bio

Anakin Skywalker flies his starfighter into battle against droid tri-fighters in space, then changes the vehicle into a robot to fight super battle droids on the planet below.

I love the Jedi Starfighter. Especially from Episode 3. It got that Tie Fighter look. I still remember the time when Anakin and Obi Wan space battle to save the Chancellor from the evil Grevious. That was an awesome scene with an awesome score from John Williams. This Jedi Starfighter is a bit bulky especially on the front. The yellow painted livery remains as General Anakin flagship with R2-D2 on board (although cannot be removed). The only problem I had was the wing. I think I need some sort of Gundam stand to make it look more nicer as the chest part on the bottom can be use as a clip point. How cool is that, right?

The problem with Star Wars Crossover figures was that; it can't really stand very well even on solid surface. Due to the heavy wing, Anakin tends to fall back frequently. I had to use a plastic mold to make him stand correctly. His transformation was not that hard. But do be careful as the arms has loose parts. His details and sculpt is amazing. You can see on his chest part, his Jedi Insignia. Like most Star Wars Crossover, especially Jedi or the Sith; this packaging came with two Lightsaber. I can make a chopstick for this but it is too small. The only thing that I really hate is the yellow wings. It can be annoying as it hangs on his arms. This is my first legion class Star Wars figure and I really love it as it is small and really cute. Can't wait if there are more to come soon. May the Force be with you.

Generation Windblade

30 th Generation - Meet the official fan-made Transformers; Windblade. According to tfwiki.net ; she was officially revealed at the 2013 SDCC (San Diego Comic-Con) after running a few polls from fan. What I love about Windblade was she is the first Autobot female that I ever bought (Yes, I bought Airachnid from TFPrime). I think I forgot that I bought Arcee from TFPrime but sold it before I could ever review or displayed it (in this case, that does not count). Well, I really like her appearance and here is my review of her figure.

CW Powerglide

Combiner Wars - Finally a better looking Powerglide. I can't afford to buy the Classic 2.0 Powerglide; so this would be quite a nice value for your money. Basically, Powerglide is one of the G1 mini-bot (and how I wish that Beachcomber and Seaspray would be redesign). When Hasbro announce Powerglide as a legend class Combiner Wars figure; I was really excited. The new figure is the best looking Powerglide known and identical to his animation counterpart. And the best part; he transform himself into a powerful blaster for the combiners. Here is my review of him.

Construct Bots - Ironhide

Construct-Bots - This will be my first posting on Construct-Bots. I was curious on how Constuct-Bots mechanism work and how it differ from the already established Lego Bionicle/Hero Factory line and the normal Kre-O brick line. Hasbro stated that with Construct-Bots; you don't need to remove the parts to transform from one form to another. As an additional info; this Construct-Bots (CB) Ironhide is not my first CB. That would be Starscream and I will review it when the time comes. So here is my review of Ironhide.
