Generations - Sometimes, I wished I could turn back time and get the CHUG Cliffjumper instead of this. But that would proof difficult. So this figure would do until Hasbro can come up with a 30th Generation Cliffjumper (how I wish). Anyway; this figure share the same mold with the Transformers Prime RID Cliffjumper. Here is my review of Cliffjumper
Vehicle Mode
I really hate Hasbro for their tedious repaint and retool. There is not much changes on the vehicle mode except that it has darker red compared to the TFP:RID version. I guess Bumblebee and Cliffjumper became more of a muscle car these days.
Robot Mode
You might like him or not. But I do like this figure except for the facts that the legs are short. The transformation is complex but not too difficult. Really challenging even for seasons collectors. Anyway, his head sculpt look good compared to the no-nose RID version. He has a gimmick on both his hands. It can change into a weapon simply by rotating the hidden weapon in his hands.
Conclusion
Cliffjumper may be a retool of the TFPrime: RID; nevertheless he looks great but a bit short and thin compared to his CHUG version. I don't really mind owning him but I do wished that Hasbro would redesign him especially for the 30th Generation. For now, I will stick with War for Cybertron Cliffjumper (which may or not be review next).
