Generation Warpath

20140608_232233

Generations - The most obnoxious Autobot and yet the most powerful. In the G1 animation; I really love how he battles Blitzwing in a tank battle. I really hate him when he shout out his famous quote "Blam! Boom! Pow". And did you know that he is the king of Transformers pun? He did said to Blitzwing; quote "Hey, Blitzwing! Tank you!". Anyway; after a few decades since the G1, fans does miss him. The only mold that you get that were close as the G1 was the legend class Warpath (2009).

Bio

Wherever the fight is, that's where Warpath wants to be. His super heavy armor and powerful weapons mean he doesn't have to worry about things like orders or tactics. He just heads straight for wherever the fighting is heaviest, pouring fire into the enemy, and hoping there's someone left standing to give him a good fight when he gets there.

Vehicle Mode

I love the tank mode. So modern looking and beautiful. I love that he still maintain his G1 color. The only thing I really dislike was the missile pod. The missile are so long and for most of the photoshoot; I left it behind. There is a reference to the G1. Look at that K4-90W or in other words KAPOW. But on the other side; I really don't get it. ZOWEE, I guess?

Robot Mode

I really like his robot form. So much going on and really detailed. His transformation was confusing at first try (yes, I love to transform without the instruction manual). My only difficulties was the parts that hides the shoulder parts. His head sculpt is really menacing and gentle at the same time (depending on your view). His cannon can be shorten to his chest; making his looks more nice and legit. The feet may be disturbing for some of you but I do not mind at all. My other concern was his lack of weapon (but I think he already pack a cannon on his chest and an artillery of missles on his both shoulder).

Conclusion

As a G1 enthusiast; I really love Warpath mold. So fresh and a very good design. When Hasbro is hardworking; they can make beautiful masterpiece. This figure is a very good figure to get and you will not be disappointed. Here is an added bonus picture to show him and the rest of the Decepticon (I have to put Blitzwing, Bludegeon and Guzzle aside as their tank mode cannot fit this picture).

Generation Windblade

30 th Generation - Meet the official fan-made Transformers; Windblade. According to tfwiki.net ; she was officially revealed at the 2013 SDCC (San Diego Comic-Con) after running a few polls from fan. What I love about Windblade was she is the first Autobot female that I ever bought (Yes, I bought Airachnid from TFPrime). I think I forgot that I bought Arcee from TFPrime but sold it before I could ever review or displayed it (in this case, that does not count). Well, I really like her appearance and here is my review of her figure.

CW Powerglide

Combiner Wars - Finally a better looking Powerglide. I can't afford to buy the Classic 2.0 Powerglide; so this would be quite a nice value for your money. Basically, Powerglide is one of the G1 mini-bot (and how I wish that Beachcomber and Seaspray would be redesign). When Hasbro announce Powerglide as a legend class Combiner Wars figure; I was really excited. The new figure is the best looking Powerglide known and identical to his animation counterpart. And the best part; he transform himself into a powerful blaster for the combiners. Here is my review of him.

Expressive Art Convention Brunei - Gundam Exhibition

EACon Brunei - Honestly, I am not a big fan of Gundam. But I do love the creative things that some collectors are willing to do beyond the stock paint and decal. Some are very quite amazing compared to the normal stock version. The ability to customized a Gundam model (or GunPla) is beyond imagination and limitless compared to a Transformers figure. Well just look at the pictures and judge it by yourself (Pictures make take a while to load, so please be patient).
