Fall of Cybertron - You can never get enough of Jazz. I like him better than any Autobot. Unfortunately; I think the thoughts of having a Masterpiece Jazz would be impossible due to the reason Porsche reluctant to borrow their license to Hasbro/Takara. I have been trying to review this figure since last year. I remember I did upload it to somewhere but I failed to review it either. Anyway; in Fall of Cybertron, Jazz was a playable character besides Cliffjumper.
Bio
Autobot Jazz is gifted with a flair for flexible thinking and improvisation, making him the ideal special operations commander for the Autobots. Optimus Prime entrusts him with the most sensitive missions, counting on his keen mind and natural leadership to accomplish even the most dangerous objectives, no matter what. - TFU.info
Vehicle Mode
I love his vehicle mode that resemble a Porsche Carrera GT. It looks sporty and very fast. You can see a lot of paint detailed going on his vehicle mode. I think the Takara version has much more better paint application than this. The only drawback was at his rear where there is nothing covered and you can see both hand.
Robot Mode
His transformation process is not that hard except for the shoulder parts where you need to be careful when inserting the pegs. I did managed to pull out the shoulder once or twice due to force. First of all; I really dislike how his head area is shrunken a bit underneath his chest. I have to take a higher shot to get the proportion right. His legs and hands are quite slim compared to his busty chest. Anyway; He is packed with a small blaster.
Conclusion
I am not sure if Takara has fix the head problem with their version. I still love this version of Jazz though. I might also review the reissue version of Jazz soon. A must have for those who love War for Cybertron/Fall of Cybertron video game. Like any new release; I am just disappointed that Jazz is also short in height. Having him stand between WFC Bumblebee and Cliffjumper is a joke. I just hope Hasbro will not be too cheap especially on the Generations line.
