Generations - Hi everyone! It has been a while and I think some of you guys will think that I am no longer interested in reviewing Transformers. Well; I have been waiting for the right time and a few equipment before I can review any figures. I did tried mobile blogging before but it failed due to certain factor such as picture post processing and the lack of HTML edit on Blogger apps. But don't worry as I am currently active on Instagram. Just follow me @superionskyraven or click this icon . Anyway, without further a due; here is my review for the IDW 30th Generation Bumblebee
Vehicle Mode
I got to be honest that I really dislike this new mold. Too much of M. Bay influence. The car is a hybrid between a Ford Mustang and a Mitsubishi sports car. I really don't know what is happening with Bumblebee and his stripe. The G1 never had a stripe before. But the RTS Bumblebee does. Anyway, we can peg the weapons on both side. Making it look more like a weaponizer gimmick.
Robot Mode
I got to be honest that I was excited to get this new Bumblebee although I am not a big fan of him. I love the comic book story. It felt that Bumblebee had lost weight and gain a few height after a few decades. Compared with the rest of the new line; I just felt that Bumblebee was a bit cheap. The paint on the head sculpt said it all. Although Takara did repaint it again but that does not give any changes but more uneven paint. His transformation process was not hard.
Conclusion
Bumblebee is a great addition especially for fans of Bumblebee. But I do recommend to get his second incarnation and that would be Goldfire or Goldbug. That figure has exciting new headsculpt and a better paint. If you got the extra dough; I would recommend the masterpiece Bumblebee that would release this November.
