Generation Drift

Generation - Drift. The Con who defect and find his way to his true path and becoming an Autobot. I do not know much of him as he only appeared in comic book. Formerly known as Deadlock; Drift appeared only in IDW Generation 1 comic book. I bought him a very long time ago because he looks so cool. With a samurai sword and dual katana; I can't resist on getting this guy (and he is truly worth it).

Bio

Drift (ドăƒȘフト Dorifuto) was not always an Autobot. In fact, he slaughtered quite a few when he was known as the Decepticon Deadlock. But Deadlock's eyes were opened to what the Transformers' war had become when he stumbled across a lost faction of neutral Transformers long since forgotten. He discarded his ruthless ways, abandoned his guns for swords, and changed his name and appearance.

When Drift returned to the Transformer war to make right what he put wrong, he was a bot of few words and disciplined action. Because of his brutal past, Drift isn't well-liked or trusted by a few of the Autobots. The rest don't seem to care, so long as his skills are used against the other side!

In addition to the two swords kept in his hip scabbards, Drift carries a legendary Great Sword. An ancient weapon that predates modern civilization, the Great Sword draws upon the spark energy of its bearer, and as such must only be used in the most dire of circumstances. (Source: TFWiki)

According to TFWiki; Drift vehicle mode is a combination of a Nissan Silvia S15 and a Mitsubishi FTO. Well, I really can't complain about his vehicle mode because it is the most awesome looking vehicle compare to the rest. Just look at that sweet rims and nicely curved vehicle mode. The United version has even better detail paint job compare to this Hasbro version.

I am a bit of a fan of robot that come with a sword. It does not matter if it is a Transformers or a Gundam; I just love it. So far, Drift is not the only Autobot with a katana. The G2 Optimus Prime has his laser sword and I remember having ROTF Bludegeon and it does came with katana and a small dagger (still in the box though). Anyway, I have to admit; Drift looks very amazing. To add to that, I had add the exclusive MakeToy Battle Tanker Drift sword for him. It is just picture perfect. There is another variation of Drift and that is the exclusive Shattered Glass Drift that held a pistols instead of a katana (how I wish I could own that).

Generation Windblade

30 th Generation - Meet the official fan-made Transformers; Windblade. According to tfwiki.net ; she was officially revealed at the 2013 SDCC (San Diego Comic-Con) after running a few polls from fan. What I love about Windblade was she is the first Autobot female that I ever bought (Yes, I bought Airachnid from TFPrime). I think I forgot that I bought Arcee from TFPrime but sold it before I could ever review or displayed it (in this case, that does not count). Well, I really like her appearance and here is my review of her figure.

Expressive Art Convention Brunei - Gundam Exhibition

EACon Brunei - Honestly, I am not a big fan of Gundam. But I do love the creative things that some collectors are willing to do beyond the stock paint and decal. Some are very quite amazing compared to the normal stock version. The ability to customized a Gundam model (or GunPla) is beyond imagination and limitless compared to a Transformers figure. Well just look at the pictures and judge it by yourself (Pictures make take a while to load, so please be patient).

Expressive Art Convention Brunei - The Cosplay Artist

EACon Brunei - Cosplay, a rather interesting pop-culture that is now spreading like peanut butter on a sandwich. I am astound to found out that cosplay had become a sensation particularly for teenagers. Not just that, I also found out that most of them make a good effort by trying to match exactly as their anime or video game character counterpart. Well, just have a look and see what I mean.
