ROTF Camshaft

Revenge of The Fallen - Sorry for the late update. Work has been hectic due to the upcoming celebration of Brunei Darussalam National Day. Anyway, in this blog; we don't just review cool and awesome Transformers but we are into review the worst type too. Well, I change my mind when I say Jolt was a bad mold; Camshaft is the worst I could ever possibly imagine. Why? Just look at him? Who design this guy in the first place? And why it has to be like the drone from the movie video game?

Bio

When you need a planet surveyed, but the conditions are too hostile even for Bumblebee, Camshaft's your bot. He and his team are often the first ones into a dangerous planet. Thanks to his AllSpark-enhanced adaptive armor and silent-but-deadly weapons systems, Camshaft is well-equipped to deal with harsh environments and Decepticons alike.

Vehicle Mode

The most unimaginative vehicle mode I ever seen. At least this vehicle mode is so much better than his alternate mode. Anyway, he looks similar to Jolt but his vehicle mode is Hasbro own designed and has nothing to do with Cheverolet. The one thing I really hate about this vehicle mode is the cannon that pops up from behind. Nitro anyone?

Camshaft come as a bonus value pack with the leader class Optimus Prime (haven't review on that figure yet). At least he is FREE. He is actually a repaint of the Decepticon Swindle. At least Swindle was a bit charming in terms of color compare to Camshaft. His transformation process was not that hard but there is a few pegs that is need to be adjusted on the waist area. Anyway, he does not come with a weapon as HE is the WEAPON. His cannon pop up on his chest and all hell break lose! To me, this type of mold felt like a sparing bot for both the Autobot and Decepticon. At least TF: Prime drone are way much cooler than Camshaft.

Last but not least, his articulation is limited. Both arms and legs are as stiff as hell. His arm can only move up and down. Even his head can't move. This type of bot should be called stiffbot than Autobot. If you got Swindle, then maybe you are in favor of owning Camshaft. Personally, this is quite an insult to the G1 Camshaft which are way cooler than this. So avoid if necessary.

Generation Windblade

30 th Generation - Meet the official fan-made Transformers; Windblade. According to tfwiki.net ; she was officially revealed at the 2013 SDCC (San Diego Comic-Con) after running a few polls from fan. What I love about Windblade was she is the first Autobot female that I ever bought (Yes, I bought Airachnid from TFPrime). I think I forgot that I bought Arcee from TFPrime but sold it before I could ever review or displayed it (in this case, that does not count). Well, I really like her appearance and here is my review of her figure.

CW Powerglide

Combiner Wars - Finally a better looking Powerglide. I can't afford to buy the Classic 2.0 Powerglide; so this would be quite a nice value for your money. Basically, Powerglide is one of the G1 mini-bot (and how I wish that Beachcomber and Seaspray would be redesign). When Hasbro announce Powerglide as a legend class Combiner Wars figure; I was really excited. The new figure is the best looking Powerglide known and identical to his animation counterpart. And the best part; he transform himself into a powerful blaster for the combiners. Here is my review of him.

Expressive Art Convention Brunei - Gundam Exhibition

EACon Brunei - Honestly, I am not a big fan of Gundam. But I do love the creative things that some collectors are willing to do beyond the stock paint and decal. Some are very quite amazing compared to the normal stock version. The ability to customized a Gundam model (or GunPla) is beyond imagination and limitless compared to a Transformers figure. Well just look at the pictures and judge it by yourself (Pictures make take a while to load, so please be patient).
