Recent Acquisition - Hasbro Optimus Prime MP-01

Masterpiece - I never thought that I would buy one of these. I bought this for a very good bargain from one of my former colleague at TAIB. He has been keeping it for almost 4 years. Like most of his collection, all his figures are in mint condition. It is in excellent condition and I really love it very much. There is also a Takara version of this. That version has cleaner looked and without the battle damage. What I love about this MP-01 version is that is so much taller in height that it over shadowed ROTF Optimus Prime leader class.

Well, for generation who watch Transformers as a kid, the MP-01 is a dream come true. I cannot afford to buy a Transformers toy unless it is my birthday during those time. And to have my dream toy came true, it took me 25 years to even own one. I guess this is what you call as dream come true. Thank you for reading.

Expressive Art Convention Brunei - Gundam Exhibition

EACon Brunei - Honestly, I am not a big fan of Gundam. But I do love the creative things that some collectors are willing to do beyond the stock paint and decal. Some are very quite amazing compared to the normal stock version. The ability to customized a Gundam model (or GunPla) is beyond imagination and limitless compared to a Transformers figure. Well just look at the pictures and judge it by yourself (Pictures make take a while to load, so please be patient).

EACon Brunei - Cosplay, a rather interesting pop-culture that is now spreading like peanut butter on a sandwich. I am astound to found out that cosplay had become a sensation particularly for teenagers. Not just that, I also found out that most of them make a good effort by trying to match exactly as their anime or video game character counterpart. Well, just have a look and see what I mean.
