Macross Frontier - My first Bandai kit since 1994. My first kit was a Gundam 1/100 bought to me by my uncle when he was in Japan. He also bought me Zoids once. So I won't say that I am really good in assembling a kit but I have been assembling kit since I was 8 years old (honestly). Most of them are Kabaya series. My dad use to buy me those small kit from Hua Ho Sengkurong and at Moh Seng, a shop in Kupang, Tutong. Those were the good old days.
Although some of my known associates know me as a Transformers fan; little they know that I am quite a Macross fan. I have been following one of my respected bloggers, Taiko D on his blog Toyaddict Zone; it is an excellent blog especially for Macross fan alike. I was thinking of buying the DX version but it was quite small and expensive compared to this.
I was a bit of beginner for a big kit like this. I was too afraid to admit defeat, so I just carry on until I finished up everything. I still need a lot to learn about kit especially when applying decal. It is so freaking annoying with the wet decal. Luckily, one of my fellow bloggers and FB friend, Kevin Goh from BTC and Brunei Plamo Group (formerly known as Brunei Gunpla Group) and a few members had recommended me using a topcoat and a Mark Setter and Softer. It is to dry those wet decal and make sure it stick where it should be. I still have a long way to became an amateur plamo. Well as Taiko D would say: See you next deculture...
