Laserbeak

Photobucket

Dark of the Moon - Remember the time when Laserbeak was a small bird that transform into one of Soundwave cassette? Well in Dark of the Moon movie, he became a one big turkey with an attitude. His role in the movie were quite mischievous compared to Ravage (poor kitty cat). And best of all, he talks! Anyway, his vehicle mode won't be a laser printer or something; but he does have a quite nice vehicle mode.

Bio

LASERBEAK grows more independent each day spent away from CYBERTRON. The loyal servant of SOUNDWAVE and the DECEPTICONS has become more self-aware since arriving in the Milky Way. LASERBEAK continuously monitors AUTOBOT troop movement from afar, plotting the perfect moment to unleash his laser attack.

Vehicle Mode

Laserbeak looks like a drone hover plane. Well, if he was laser printer; I guess no one will ever one to buy it. This vehicle mode really looks amazing with details on the front cockpit and the hover fan on both side of the wings. My only concern was that there are no Decepticon insignia anywhere on this vehicle mode. And in the package, the MechTech weapon has a red ring on both barrel; but all I can see was a simple colored guns.

Error on Manual

I had to put it in here as I heard of this rumors about the error before on Seibertron. Well, the rumors were true. Look at the head of Laserbeak carefully and its head is different than the one I bought. Future reference for Buzzsaw maybe?

Alternate Mode

Just like Ravage, his transformation skill was way too easy. Anyway, he looks more like between a vulture and a turkey rather than a falcon to me. First a cyclops kitty cat and now a big turkey. I wont complain much as his wings are really great. It looks really awesome. With the gun mounted on both sides, Laserbeak is a force to be recon with. And his MechTech weapon when combine, can be a nice looking machine gun. Not for Laserbeak but for another voyager figure like Megatron. But the combination has its flaw. The front barrel won't line up straight. Maybe its because of the spring loaded that cause its malfunction. Anyway, there are rumors that Soundwave Human Alliance version is pack with Laserbeak. So if you want to wait for it, its better you save your money for that version. But for now, just buy the deluxe version if price is not a matter to you.

Generation Windblade

30 th Generation - Meet the official fan-made Transformers; Windblade. According to tfwiki.net ; she was officially revealed at the 2013 SDCC (San Diego Comic-Con) after running a few polls from fan. What I love about Windblade was she is the first Autobot female that I ever bought (Yes, I bought Airachnid from TFPrime). I think I forgot that I bought Arcee from TFPrime but sold it before I could ever review or displayed it (in this case, that does not count). Well, I really like her appearance and here is my review of her figure.

CW Powerglide

Combiner Wars - Finally a better looking Powerglide. I can't afford to buy the Classic 2.0 Powerglide; so this would be quite a nice value for your money. Basically, Powerglide is one of the G1 mini-bot (and how I wish that Beachcomber and Seaspray would be redesign). When Hasbro announce Powerglide as a legend class Combiner Wars figure; I was really excited. The new figure is the best looking Powerglide known and identical to his animation counterpart. And the best part; he transform himself into a powerful blaster for the combiners. Here is my review of him.

Construct Bots - Ironhide

Construct-Bots - This will be my first posting on Construct-Bots. I was curious on how Constuct-Bots mechanism work and how it differ from the already established Lego Bionicle/Hero Factory line and the normal Kre-O brick line. Hasbro stated that with Construct-Bots; you don't need to remove the parts to transform from one form to another. As an additional info; this Construct-Bots (CB) Ironhide is not my first CB. That would be Starscream and I will review it when the time comes. So here is my review of Ironhide.
