Ratchet

Dark of The Moon - Ratchet, the medical specialist and a highly respected Cybertron scientist. He is also known in the animated series as a decorated war hero much like Sergeant Kup. At first, I was not too keen in buying this figure as I still prefer the 2007 Transformers Rachet. But it is slightly better than the RoTF Ratchet. He look like a mean green Humvee machine. But after watching some of the reviewer out there, I guess it is not that bad. It is quite a very detailed figure indeed.

Bio

AUTOBOT RATCHET has dedicated his life to healing the sick and repairing the wounded. Every weapon he has ever carried has served a dual purpose as both a means of defense and a rescue tool. Even as he battles the DECEPTICONS, his mind works overtime to process the most efficient means of saving his enemies' lives once the battle is over.

Vehicle Mode

His vehicle mode looks amazing. With high level of details and new livery. He look so much simple but very attractive. You can see a lot is going on in the decal and paint department. From the logo to the signal lamp, this figure has the richest detail yet. At first, I really do not like the green yellow color. But after a while, I really get use to it. Maybe it is because I used to watch Ratchet on the Transformers DVD and Blu-Ray and still prefer the old livery.

Vehicle Mode (with MechTech Weapon)

For a deluxe model, he really has a lot of MechTech weapon point. In vehicle mode, he got 3 MechTech points. Like previous figure, I really do not like the MechTech weapon mounted on the vehicle mode. It looks really silly and not cool. Unless, you want to show off to your friend by showing them how many MechTech weapon you already owned (yeah, right).

Alternate Mode

His transformation difficulty was very easy (even it said Intermediate). Not that very hard indeed. Just like his vehicle mode, he has a very nice detail on him. His looks is almost identical to his Dark of The Moon movie counter-part. An amazing piece of work by Hasbro. It is also neat and not that blocky compared to the 2007 voyager version. In his alternate mode, he can have two MechTech weapon each on both his hand and two each on both his shoulder. I have not tested it yet but I think he would look cool (and heavier) with all those weapons attached. If previously, you have collected Ratchet than I would suggest that you would collect this one. You will not be disappointed.
