Ironhide

Hunt for the Deception - A piece of art. That is all I can say. A bit smaller in size than the Hunt for Decepticon Battle Blade Bumblebee. But its transformation mode is almost similar to the movie version except for the arms. But I really do not mind that as this is so much better than Jolt. But if you do not mind spending a little bit more dime, I suggest go for the voyager class, Recon Ironhide.

Bio

Ironhide is the Autobots' resident weapons specialist and Optimus Prime's old friend. He is old because he is hard. He's probably had enough replacement parts to build a small army, but Ironhide doggedly refuses to roll over and die for anyone. He'll fight to the bitter end and take down more than his fair share of Decepticons in the process.

Ironhide doesn't always see optic to optic with Prime, despite their friendship. He's perhaps the more practical of the two, and more than a little trigger happy, so he can be more willing to push the Autobot code to the limit if he thinks it will get the job done faster.

He has more guns than a smaller third-world country, and he may or may not have blown up a planet with said guns.

Vehicle Mode

The vehicle mode is awesome. My only complain was the paws can be seen below the truck (the same thing happen with Battle Blade Bumblebee). I guess that is what you get for a deluxe class model. The cannon can be attached on back top of the truck. The cannon also served as a drone, just like in the video game Revenge of the Fallen. Although, the cannon has no functionality (just your imagination I guess), but it is a good additional item. To me, the vehicle mode is awesome.

Transformation Mode

The transformation mode need a bit more skillful in executing it. The manual sometimes can be confusing but its your logic that really matter in executing the transformation. It stated in the package that the difficulty is Intermediate. And it is very hard at first. But after a few try, you will get the hang of it. The articulation in this model is surprisingly can pose very nice. The only disadvantage were the arms, it is so short considering his enormous body and armor. I always know Ironhide from Generation 1 as the red van. But this movie version really redefine him as the weapon specialist as he should be. A strong gentle giant.

CW Powerglide

Combiner Wars - Finally a better looking Powerglide. I can't afford to buy the Classic 2.0 Powerglide; so this would be quite a nice value for your money. Basically, Powerglide is one of the G1 mini-bot (and how I wish that Beachcomber and Seaspray would be redesign). When Hasbro announce Powerglide as a legend class Combiner Wars figure; I was really excited. The new figure is the best looking Powerglide known and identical to his animation counterpart. And the best part; he transform himself into a powerful blaster for the combiners. Here is my review of him.

AoE Evolution Pack - Optimus Prime

Age of Extinction - Sorry for the late update. Been busy with life and collecting some masterpiece along the way. This double pack caught my eyes because of the classic/henkei mold. I already have the AoE Evasion Optimus (but never did review it); so here is my chance to review it all at once.

CW Bombshell

Combiner Wars - It is a bug world out there. Anyway; this is the second Insecticon that I bought. We are missing the last legend wave (Megatron, Starscream, Gears, Skrapnel, Tailgate, Swerve and Cosmos). Either it arrived a few or none at all (and selling like hot cake). I can't complain much but at least the new Combiner Wars line release Bombshell (and yet to see upcoming Huffer, Blackjack and Warpath). Here is my review of this great and simple figure.
